James is state licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Alabama (LPC #2405) and in Colorado (LPC-5131) and is certified as a National Certified Counselor. He is a member of the American Counseling Association,  the Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, the Alabama Counseling Association, and the Colorado Counseling Association. James is an experienced Counselor and Consultant, providing in-home, telephone, and outpatient services to children, teens, adults, and families. James is All But Dissertation (ABD) in his studies toward the Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at The University of Alabama and holds a Master of Arts in Community Counseling and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from The University of North Alabama. In addition to his private practice, James is an Assistant Professor of Counseling at an accredited university and teaches graduate students enrolled in Mental Health Counseling courses.
